Benjamin Moore Blockout TB1100099-05 Exterior Primer, Flat White, 5 Gal

Benjamin Moore Blockout is a multi-purpose latex exterior primer and whole-house primer for exterior wood, metal, masonry, siding, and most other exterior substrates. This tannin-blocking formula excels at priming exterior wood while bonding effectively to a wide range of surfaces. The flat white finish provides excellent coverage visibility and creates a uniform surface ready for topcoats, whether latex or alkyd.

Blockout solves common exterior priming challenges: it blocks tannin stains on new and weathered wood surfaces, adheres to chalky or peeling surfaces, and resists mildew growth in humid climates. Its high-build capability covers surface imperfections and rough spots quickly, reducing prep time and the need for extensive sanding. The primer dries to a paintable state in approximately two hours, keeping projects on schedule.
