Description
These Hillman trim screws are premium fasteners engineered for composite decking, wood decking, exterior trim, and molding projects. The #8 x 2-1/2 inch stainless steel screws feature a star drive head that eliminates frustrating camout and provides a secure grip, making them ideal for both professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts. Whether you're working with treated lumber, standard wood, or composite materials, these screws deliver reliable performance in demanding applications.
The patented design includes a no-split twist shank that removes wood fibers from the hole and prevents wood splitting, reducing the need for pre-drilling. The serrated threads and sharp point minimize driving torque, making installation faster and easier. With a high marine-grade 305 stainless steel finish, these fasteners resist rust and corrosion in both indoor and outdoor environments, and they're specifically formulated to withstand the effects of pressure-treated lumber preservatives.
