Back to Nature Ready-Strip Advanced is a safer paint and varnish remover formulated without methylene chloride, NMP, caustic or flammable chemicals. It removes paints, varnishes, stains, lacquers and urethanes from wood, metal and other surfaces with ease, capable of stripping up to seven layers of coatings in a single application. This semi-paste formula is truly engineered to cling to vertical surfaces, making it ideal for restoration jobs, workshops and job sites where safety and effectiveness matter.

The revolutionary color-change technology eliminates guesswork from the stripping process. Apply the product to your surface and watch as it turns from off-white to pale green when the paint or varnish is ready for removal. This visual cue tells you exactly when to scrape, avoiding the uncertainty of traditional strippers that may be ineffective if removed too soon or may dry out and fail to work if left on too long.

Features and Benefits

  • Color-Change Technology: Turns off-white to pale green when paint is ready to remove, eliminating uncertainty and guesswork from the stripping process.
  • Safer Formula: Free of methylene chloride, NMP, caustic and flammable chemicals, with virtually no odor, making it safer for workshops and job sites.
  • Semi-Paste Consistency: Clings to vertical surfaces without running or dripping, providing better coverage and control.
  • Multi-Layer Removal: Removes up to seven coating layers in a single application, reducing time and labor on restoration work.
  • Water Cleanup: Biodegradable formula cleans up easily with water, reducing disposal concerns.
  • Versatile: Works on wood, metal and other substrates to remove paints, varnishes, stains, lacquers and urethanes.
