The Irwin 88805 Speedbor spade drill bit is engineered for fast, clean hole boring in wood and soft materials. Featuring a precision-ground blue groove point and cutting edge, this bit delivers superior chip removal and reduces breakout, leaving smooth finished holes in lumber, plywood, and composite panels. The grooved hex shank locks firmly into standard drill chucks and bit extensions, eliminating slippage and ensuring consistent power transfer for both DIY and professional applications.

This 5/16-inch bit reduces fatigue during extended use and helps you complete drilling tasks faster and with fewer passes. The design's parabolic scoop geometry clears chips efficiently, reducing binding and delivering reliable performance across wood boring jobs.
